In order to build a platform for academic exchanges and display of academic achievements for young talents at home and abroad, the International Young Scholars Sub Forum 2025 of QIZHEN Medical Youth Forum will be held in Yiwu in mid January, 2025.
The forum will focus on academic frontiers, discuss hotspots of disciplines, open up academic horizons, promote exchanges and cooperation, and enlighten the future of health through thematic reports, academic seminars, talent talks and field visits.
【For the Applicants】
Outstanding young scholars in the fields of life sciences, healthcare, or the intersection of medicine, industry, and information technology are warmly welcomed. The following conditions are required:
1. Young scholars who are less than 40 years old, have a doctoral degree from a famous university overseas or domestic, and have worked for at least 3 years in a famous overseas university, scientific research institute or well-known enterprise R & D organization, and have made certain achievements in the field of life sciences, or have good potential for development.
2. Young scholars who have been selected for the national young talent program (project) or have equivalent academic level.
3. Relying on Zhejiang University to apply for the national key talent program.
【Forum Welfare】
No charge for the Forum.

【Declaration Conditions】
The following conditions refer to the “Guidelines for the 2024 NSFC Outstanding Youth Science Fund Program (Overseas)” (https://www.nsfc.gov.cn/publish/portal0/tab442/info88099.htm). Please refer to the 2024 Guidelines as the final guide. We will contact the applicants as soon as the latest guidelines are released.
Obey the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, have good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era.
Be born on or after January 1, 1985 (included).
With a doctoral degree, generally should obtain an official teaching or research position in overseas universities, research institutions, and enterprise R&D organizations after obtaining the doctoral degree until the declaration in 2025, and have more than 36 consecutive months of work experience; for those who have obtained a doctoral degree overseas and have particularly outstanding performance, the working year requirement can be appropriately eased.
Achieved scientific research or technological achievements recognized by peer experts in the field of life sciences and medicine, and has the potential to become an academic leader or outstanding talent in the field.
Have not yet returned (came) to work in China on a full-time basis, or will return (come) to China after January 1, 2024 to work in China. The applicant must resign from his/her overseas job or have no job overseas and will return (come) to China to work full-time for not less than 3 years after being notified of the grant.
【Declaration Instructions】
The eligible applicants shall sign a work contract or intentional agreement with our institute, log in the information system when the system is open, and fill in the Application Form for NSFC Outstanding Youth Science Fund Program (Overseas) online. The applicant is responsible for the authenticity of the submitted application materials, which will be reviewed by our institute and submitted online to the NSFC.
Note on limitation: Only one item can be undertaken at the same level of the National Science and Technology Talent Program, and no application can be made at the reverse level.
